Dwight Short is a retired financial advisor who devoted over 34 years to Merrill Lynch, where he earned the title of First Vice President, Investments and the CIMA designation. A lifelong follower of Christ, Dwight adopted Matthew 6:33 as his guiding verse and has built his life and career around biblical stewardship. He co-authored one of the first comprehensive books on Biblically Responsible Investing, Kingdom Gains, and has played a key role in promoting Kingdom Advisors on Wall Street and beyond.

 

Post-retirement, Dwight has been actively involved in ministry and missions—both locally and globally—often using sports as a bridge to share the gospel. He is a lifetime trustee of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has served with organizations like In His Steps Foundation and the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants.

 

Dwight holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and remains passionate about equipping Christian financial professionals to steward resources for God’s Kingdom. He is a member of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, TX, where he supports youth sports and prayer ministries.
