Mike Lonigro led people for over 50 career-years, both as an Army officer and as a corporate manager.  He has been enthusiastically sharing for some time five pillars of leadership from Proverbs 16 that represent the very best of what he has learned and experienced about how to lead people.

Mike is a Distinguished Graduate (top 5%) of the US Military Academy at West Point, New York, with a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  He is a licensed minister, deacon, and surrendered preacher with a love for God’s Word, and sees the Bible as the world’s very best leadership manual.

 

Mike is retired from his career in IT and Cybersecurity, the last twenty-six of which were in management.  He retired from the Regular Army and Reserve as a full colonel after twenty-five years of service.  His service included one year combat leadership of 43 military advisors embedded with Iraqi forces in Baghdad during the troop surge of 2006-2007.  His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, and Ranger tab.

 

Mike has been married to Sharon for 36 years.  He has four children, all walking with the Lord, and six grandchildren.
